Funny Video!
I can lead(direct, coordinate, provide spiritual direction, etc…) a House of Prayer*.
It was an afternoon after getting home from work, and my mom was fixing dinner. It was before there was ever the opportunity(a little more than a year ago). Looking back at it now, I felt like it reverberated in my mind like a gunshot or the impact of a nice swing of a baseball bat. Not in a bad feeling, instead it infuses such power and strength to fuel the inner man to step forward in the direction God is calling. You gotta love impressions from the Holy Spirit. They are so sweet but yet so powerful. It is even more powerful when you speak it out!
I have been going back to some childhood classic cereals. Plus it is fun to joke with my mom how Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Apple Jacks have lower calories than her “healthy” cereal. I bought Apple Jacks and this came in the box:
The Indiana Jones Adventure Spoon! It even lights up! Kinda cool? At least it was amusing at about 6:30am yesterday. Needless to say it might be cooler than the movie, at least from what I am hearing and reading.
…start one more time
Lately I have just felt like putting some random things up here. Here is a powerful quote from a book that I am reading about the spiritual life:
Living things grow in visible creation. Acorns develop into oak trees, tadpoles into frogs, babies into adult men and women. We are so convinced that things slowly mature to a fullness of life that if we were to notice that a three-foot sapling suddenly stopped growing, we would immediately and without any need for reasoning about it conclude that something had gone wrong…Many of us do not understand to be applicable on the supernatural level what we fully grasp on the natural level. We are not alarmed about truncated spiritual development. Yet Jesus said that He came not only that we might have life but also that we might have it abundantly, and St. Paul insisted that we are to lives so intensely that we are to be filled with the utter fullness of God and nothing less.*

Interesting thought, makes me want to inspect myself for stunted spiritual growth.
